Hello!
I think I understand what they mean, and it relates to the Feature Request I submitted: Administrator role with permission to edit any record #54

A) When you add a Settlement of money OWED TO YOU, in practical terms, the record belongs to the user who owed you money, and therefore only that user can edit it.

B) Meanwhile, if you add a Settlement of money YOU OWE, then the record belongs to you, and therefore you can edit it.

I tested this with a Virtual Member (Android App) to confirm this information. I’ve attached screenshots showing that in (A) the Edit and Delete options don’t appear, while in (B) they do.
The worrying thing is that this happens even with Virtual Members that I manage as an administrator.
That makes any Settle Up from a Virtual Member basically uneditable and irreversible.

I’d like to point out that this would be corrected with the feature I requested in ticket #54.

I’ve also noticed that when I have more than two virtual members, I can’t select either the Payer or the Beneficiary during a settlement process.

This makes it impossible to settle groups with more than two virtual members, as I can only settle debts I’m directly involved in. I can’t even settle debts for the virtual members I’m supposed to manage.
